Just for the record- first time around, Povetkin was cleared of wrongdoing by the agency who had done the testing. So it's not twice.
Also- Stiverne has just paid a $75,000 fine for using a banned substance going in to this scheduled fight.

It is a classless remark and he's tested positive, that's two negatives for sure, just saying, that facts are, it's not the second time he's been caught. The facts of the first case are there to be read and the source of the facts is the body who conducted the tests.

Got to admire Povetkin's gumption though, to say such a straight face and be believable enough that it ends up printed. That is real gumption.

The 36-year-old boxer claimed that he stopped taking meldonium, which was a popular heart drug among athletes from Russia and former Soviet states, in 2015.
Another failed test in the next year will see Povetkin “indefinitely” suspended from all events organized by the WBC, the statement stressed.
Pretty sure this counts as an "again" moment, considering that he was punished the first time for failing, and will be punished again. People can play the "he didn't know" card all they want in regards to him getting popped the first time, but the dude passed 3 tests and then failed the 4th. Hopefully the WBC does what they said they would and get rid of this cheater.
