Yeah and if it's really obvious, like the defendant's DNA as evidence, a confession by the killer or a credible witness, then they should be executed on the spot by the judge. Have him or her pull a lever once method is decided, then either a panel opens up with a gun that shoots them in the head, a rope that hangs them or a trap door that opens, dropping them into a moat below filled with alligators, crocodiles or great white sharks. Put it on TV and give a portion of the advertising revenue to families of the victim.

Those three things alone are hardly obvious and inherently unreliable. Maybe a video of the act commited without justification, mitigation or excuse. That’s rare however.

I'm sure it was. Ol' Carlin was brutal...
