Brook didn't have a fight at 154 before fighting GGG.
So where is the similarity?
Brook didn't win a title at 154, unlike Mikey who won a title at 140 last year. And majority of Mikey's fights since he returned have been at 140, not 135.
My heart is with Mikey, wether or not he pulls it off, I just want a great fight with good judges, not like the ones in the Golovkin Vs PEDuser fight
the judging will be interesting. in fights like ward-kovalev and canelo-ggg ward and canelo being hte lead promoter chose and paid the judges so like always they played ball for them but in this fight i'm not sure. when fighters have the same promoter do they just score the fight fairly since they dont have to be scared of blowing future opportunities or do they just score it for the fighter they think the promoter wants to win? that could get dicey
I feel Mikey will be better prepared than Brook ever was Mikey has been in the gym sparring guys like Edwin Valero, Pacquiao and Maidana since he first started
Im not saying he wins I still think Spence will be too much for him down the stretch but Mikey has a better chance than Brook did
I dont fault your thinking, problem is, brook was actually closer in size to GGG than Mikey is to Spence, and Spence is younger, hungrier, stronger, hits harder, and he will break Garcia.
I actually think his corner will pull him out pretty quick once they realize that Mikey punches don't have an effect on Spence, and when they see the effect that Spences punches have on Garcia.
