Whyte or Chisora I expect is more likely against Wilder with Miller no doubt willing to face AJ for less, then again Pulev could be mandated around that time too.

I donít think that fight would be in the pipeline or should it be, you have to make connections and calculations when making future fights, Ortiz has no positive connection to this scenario, Whyte has a positive momentum, 8 straight wins since he lost to Joshua, just coming off his first PPV, he is also signed with Hearn, so unless Ortiz brings something else that we donít know I doubt anyone would be interested in him fighting Joshua with 100,000 people in April.

If the plan was always Whyte v AJ next then why the hell did he put him in a 50/50 with Parker, where most on this forum predicted Parker to win?

Whyte is fighting again in November/December btw.

Let's not forget before we get to the $15mil offer that that same Hillbilly Deontay Wilder did offer Anthony Joshua that $50mil offer he requested just for him to subsequently turn it down.

I'm a Wilder fan. But AJ fighting Ortiz is absolute insanity. I'm amazed he's fighting Povetkin to be quite honest.

As much as I bag on Team Joshua, this Povetkin fight is far more dangerous than it would appear.

So even though they didn't give us the fight we all want to see, at least AJ is fighting a relatively live body. So I'll give him credit for that.
