Then the phone rings, it’s Don, he tells me Joe Joyce - a boxer with only seven bouts - agrees to meet me! ‘Seven bouts?’. Seven fights and he has the audacity to box me? I have stopped Chris Arreola, Ray Austin, the then undefeated Kerston Manswell - and a boxer with seven fights wants to box me?!.’

Who??? Lol And yes he wants to fight you because the last time you were in the ring you were slumped against the ropes and the ref had to jump on Wilder's back to keep you from getting knocked out of the building lol hahaha

Either you respect Stiverne, or you don't.
Your first post made it clear that you're ignorant,
and your reply only put an exclamation point on it.

You're right, though, that this is a good test for Joyce.
It's a good test for Joyce because Stiverne is the level of
opponent that Hearn usually picks to match Joshua with.
Stiverne has suffered embarrassments & seen better days,
but it's ignorant to call him a 'clown', no matter how much
you admire the young, prime Joshua. It won't be too long
from now when Joshua is suffering embarrassing losses,
and some fool on a forum will be calling him a 'clown'.
Joshua wont deserve that disrespect, and neither does
      Stiverne.

I guess they must have told Joyce that Ortiz may be a bit much for him right now. I remember Ortiz verbally agreeing after Joyce called him out.

Ortiz would fight a 6 fight novice.

Maybe the WBC will rank Stiverne 1 again when he gets knocked out by Joyce. Probably why he's really taking the fight.

Expect Joe to do a similar job to Wilder

Stiverne is garbage and Joyce will stop him early. It just shows how poor the HW division was a few years ago that he was WBC champ. People say that today's heavies are poor but it's night and day with 4 or 5 years ago.
