The reason why you grew up to be a toilet cleaner making 8.50 an hour (which is pretty good for a toilet cleaner) is because you didn't put yourself in a position to get a better job. I encourage you to go back to high school and graduate, that is a good start.

The difference from America and other places, is that nobody told you to become a toilet cleaner, it was your decision. It sounds like you fell asleep during your english class, and now you get to reap the benefits.
You can't even read dumbass i never said i was a toliet cleaner **** your stupid, how many people have put themselves in a position to get better jobs only to get outsourced...

No directing it at you, just clarifying....I love it when people says "the USA lost Vietnam"... they need to learn the facts.
Bull**** America lost nam they pulled out and quit because they knew they couldn't win, just like what will happen in Afghanistan

If Canada has such a great economy, why is the per capita still better in America????? Yes, the market is more recession-proof but that doesn't make it a great economy. America outranks Canada in the average GDP per person.....so if you go by the numbers and facts: America >>> Canada
I know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer but if you think that the only measure of economic health is GDP then you need to seriously visit the library or something. I must confess that I didn't much understand macro-economics when I was your age either so maybe after you've been embarrassed by your appallingly adolescent opinions a few times there might be hope for you yet.

Again, Britain would not have won the war in Vietnam.
Britain wouldn't have fought the war in Vietnam because Britain had experience of that sort of warfare and knows the cost versus the possible benefit. Going to Vietnam was a strategic error.

If the truth be known we didn't "lose" Vietnam...we just packed up and left. Fact is the USA won the vast majority of the battles. We left because the war had become such political poison.
If you go to war with a set of objectives and sustain heavy losses while failing to meet those objectives then you lose.

            That's very unfair. I'm not a socialist.

Yes, you are. You are not a centrist. You might think you are, I mean the liberals "don't like labels", but 100% of the debates I've seen you talk about you hold liberal positions.

I am a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. I think that the government should stay out of peoples' personal business but should have a hand in regulating business and other areas in which the ignorance of the general populace is often exploited by those with knowledge.

You pretty much inferred you are. Why else would you say it? I mean, I wouldn't knock you for it, you probably clean toilets in a nice casino. You can probably even watch tv while you're cleaning the urinals All I was saying is that it was your choice to become that type of person, and that a toilet cleaner gets payed low because time is money... your time isn't worth that much if you didn't graduate from high school.

See, the problem with that is being a social liberal is that it usually comes with a lot of government spending.
