  • [HOLY S**T!] My AntiVirus and Firefox Protection Tutorials. If you dont have an antivirus program,

If you are not protected, please do so now, take 20 or 30 minutes of your time to be more secure.

Please note that I already had an antivirus program installed and that I tried to uninstall it (For the sake of this tutorial) and I was unable to completely remove it but for the sake of this tutorial, I went ahead and re-installed the anti virus program to show you guys how to install and then reboot and then how to add the servers and user name and pass word to get the program registered and working database for signature updates.

I also included a Firefox Tutorial with the AdBlock Plus installation instructions.

AntiVirus, if you don't have one, see this thread.

So far, I have made two tutorials.

One was for installing Firefox with AdBlock Plus and the other

this battle due to lack of knowledge in this particular area.

    Be safe

I am so WindOWNED, it's not even funny.

I personally don't experience too many problems on my pc even though I am always doing the warez shuffle I really don't have any problems with adware or spyware like I did like in the 90' and early 2000's but It looks as though people here are still having trouble so I just thought I would make something to help out. Nothing is 100 % but this is better than nothing at all.
      Bad malware

My thing is, I protect myself first before surfing. It's a lot harder to get hit when you are protected than it is when you are buttnaked. Then you have to fight to get your pc clean. I also have...

You seem to be fighting a battle all the time trying to protect yourself, just dump Windows.

What do you use a computer for?

I told you I cant afford a MAC.

And Linux has none of the programs I am use to using and they are charging for driver support and updates, I can't play games on my Linux Box either. Mostly I use my pc for work, and for play I use it for graphics, and video editing most of the time. I am no longer fighting any battles, I have a handle on this thing
I am happy with Windows, I am not the kind of person who shiets on Windows for the sake of shieting on Windows. When I can afford a MAC, well then, we can talk about that when the time comes. Honestly, I have had lot's of fun on Windows and Windows 7 is pretty damn kool too.

back when i was rollin with a PC i just used mcafee.... it was only like $35/year.

however, it was a resource hog... sucked, i maxed out my RAM and it still ate balls...

so i said **** it and got one of the new macbook pros and am very pleased. they aren't cheap though so i know what you mean when you say you can't yet afford it.

windows 7 will be decent... but to me its too little too late. its not that mac is more advanced or anything, its just that its simpler, more efficient. windows is probably more advanced TBH

I have to respectfully disagree, Mac OS X is more advanced than Windows, Apple are the leaders (Innovators) and Microsoft are the followers (Copiers).
