Lol I recall a Texas Rangers pitcher walking the opposing pitcher in an interleague game. Ron Washington walked slowly to the mound and said calmly to the Rangers pitcher "you just walking the f..king pitcher. The f...king pitcher" You could easily read his lips. I miss Washington, but "thats the way baseball go".

The way MLB remedied this was that the catcher cannot block homeplate, his entire body has to be off the plate. Guys can still score from 3rd or be tagged out, it's just the home plate collisions are gone now.

So then only their hands can be in the baseline and get in the way of the runner? That makes more sense then.
