to make it a fair fight...the bigger fighter moves down, the smaller fighter moves up.. Thus the catchweight

I did.. And that fight was very much a fair fight for both fighters..In fact Cotto had the upperhand because he only needs to move down to 1 lb from his last weigh-in while Pac needed to move up 7 lbs...

There was a catchweight (a whopping two-pound difference from the limit; one-pound difference from Cotto's previous fight) because it was their first fight at 'welterweight'. Moving up in weight is a gradual process. If it's not done right, it can be disasterous.

If you people think that the ONE EXTRA POUND cost Cotto that fight, you're ****ing dumb. There's no way around that. At all. You're ****ing dumb. Roach wanted it to be at a lower weight. Cotto said he couldn't comfortably go below 145. The fight was signed. Fight took place. Cotto got TKO'd, moved on. Two years later, a bunch of fanatics are still crying about it. It's so sad. Get over it.

And until Mayweather shows someone that's not a woman or a rent-a-cop that he wants to fight, no one with a Mayweather avatar can criticize anyone's selection of opponent. You're embarrassing yourselves.

Well....whenever a ***** makes thread about Pac. It will fail from the very start. You know why? because why made a thread about Pac on the first place? Did Pac beat the **** out of Floyd like what he did against Oscar, Barrera, Morales, Hatton, Cotto and Margarito? Or did Pac discredit everything about Floyd, says a bad words or anything, and disrespected him or anything? NO! Why so butt hurt and the hates *****s? Did Pac **** your mom while watching your dad?

First fight at welterweight beside his rout of Oscar De La Hoya. Pacquiao beats Cotto anytime at anyweight i think its safe to say that.

No wonder boxing will never become mainstream. Too much reliance and focus on one boxer is making things worse.
