What are your top 3 favorite First-Person Shooter games/series of all time?

Halo has got to be atop of the list.

I might have to rewrite my submissions shortly, because 'Rainbow Six : Vegas' is rapidly becoming one of my favorite FPS games of all time. And I haven't even played the sequel yet.

Every game that isn't from the PS2/XBox and up, suck by today's standards.

Call of Doo-Doo: Modern Borefare and Whack Ops are overrated and boring though. I had much more fun playing the old games that are 'garbage' now.

indeed... I had far more fun playing Goldeneye.

Duke Nukem was also an amazing game at the time and huge fun

Halo is also one of the best multiplayer experiences aswell


Cod is more for a commercial audience,which would explain the lifespan of the series considering they only tweek the game a small amount and release one every year..I have friends that haven't touched games except for Fifa and Cod.. and they wouldn't ever consider playing a game like Halo because of the skill required

Cod and especially modern warefare 3 are all about who gets the drop on who(any newb can do that) and the spawning doesn't help

Oh and the battlefield games are great too
