        It's either California or Florida. I seen the top 15 miserable city list and Cali had like 6 cities and Florida 4 on the list.

                Generalizations like this are pretty meaningless. California is a very large diverse state and there are both good and bad places in it. The article says Stockton is the worst place and Sacramento is 5th worst. I'll agree about Stockton, but live about 25 miles northeast of Sacramento and it's pretty nice compared to the other places I've been. It's close to the mountains and snow, crime is very low, shopping (mostly food-winco/costco/lowes/homedepot for me) is within a 3 miles radius of my house. For me, the only downsides are the hot summer and the 2 hour drive to the ocean (I like watersports and scuba).

                      Honestly it has to be Texas.

                      A big desert with nothing to do, riddled with crime/disease/unjust law.

                      Oh and loaded with small towns that are boring as hell.
