  • Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: Danny Garcia wins 'close, tricky fight' with Granados

Adrian Granados didn't attend a November press conference in Los Angeles announcing an April 20 welterweight battle with two-division champion Danny Garcia, but "El Tigre" made a video saying Garcia "talked too much s***," to which "Swift" vowed to "beat his a**" With each looking to back up his words as Garcia (34-2, 20 KOs), of Philadelphia, fights Granados (20-6-2, 14 KOs, 1 NC), of Cicero, Illinois at a site to be determined, a big question will be whether or not Garcia's counter-punching potency can overcome the scrappy Granados' intermittent aggression.

So Garcia turns down a $3 mil offer to fight Crawford to fight a six loss opponent for a lot less money! It's obvious Garcia is waiting for the winner of the rematch between Thurmam/Porter and is content on playing round robin tournament with those two! Spence will never get either of those guys so he'll be on the outside looking in while ducking Crawford! This shiiit is like a soap opera.

Why would he take 3 when khan got 5?

I only like this fight if Danny is going to try something different, like establishing a jab early and often and throwing more combinations behind his jab. He’s too content with countering off the ropes, punching with his opponent, and pop shooting one punch at a time. He seldom throws 2. If he’s trying to add elements to his arsenal then it’s ok to have this fight, but his next fight has to be vs a top guy. Either Pacquiao or Thurman.

Why? Granados is a very tough fight, his only loss that hasn't been SD/MD/controversial was against Porter, who is elite and even that was a very competitive fight. That man comes to fight, I expect it to be a close decision win for Danny with maybe a KD in there

Because the 3mill came with the guaranteed title shot.
                  Now he has nothing

Why leave 2 mil on the table?
