For all we know he was bored and exhausted and spent the last of his energy on the bag.

To be fair Kov looked like he was wearing 16oz gloves when he was hitting the speed bag and, even so, in the second clip of him he starts to get a good rhythm to it.

Ward on the other hand looked very controlled, rhythmic, seamless and quick.
