[PLEASE HELP] Thinking Bout Joining the US Marine Corps, any input? former marines?

I was thinking fed law enforcement but god dam, is it hard to even get a e-mail back from them. Im going to finish my assoc degree next march in Information Technology, will that help with anything while joining ? I got a lot of questions, but I want to know if there any former marines or family members that know more about them first than shoot all my questions at once.....please feeel free to explain !
