I'll be curious if Max Kellerman becomes one of the commentators. As one of ESPN's rising stars (co-host of First Take) - and a man who ESPN and their on air personality go out of their way to emphasis how his boxing knowledge is "second to none" - one would assume they intend to use him in this capacity. I am just not sure if he would want to, seeing as how he's becoming one of their more valuable on air personalities, he might see getting pigeon held into boxing as a hinderance.

Whether you like it or not, the dates have been moved to this year. If it pleases you, you can pretend to be Nostradamus and declare there will be no PBC this year and GBP is the replacement.

12 shows this year, if they actually do 12 shows, is what they were supposed to be doing since the start.

ESPN is still doing cards with PBC. ESPN2 and ESPN deportes are doing cards with GBP.
You are acting as if GBP is replacing PBC on ESPN, which isn't the case. GBP will not air on ESPN and PBC will not air on ESPN2/Deportes.Last edited by bigdunny1; 01-19-2017, 04:30 PM.

Once haymon gets enough money to actually put on shows and deliver the remaining cards they owe espn will move on and you wont see pbc again on espn. Why did the man who made the deal get fired last year from espn? Why hire another promoter to give you fights if you happy with pbc?
I don't know why that guy got fired. My guess-his salary was high and he got let go like other highly paid former ESPN employees that have been downsized recently.
In this case GBP is a big player in the Latino/Hispanic community/market. Seeing as most of the shows are on ESPN deportes, it appears that GBP, being a Hispanic owned company that deals primarily with Meixcan/hipanic fighters, is why they went with him.
Similar to why PBC is on Bounce-its a network aimed toward African Americans
