  • Cutting food stamps further is inhumane

If money needs to be saved, cutting food stamp funding is one of the more inhumane ways. Certain people ought to be ashamed for even suggesting that.

Forcing the poorest people to suffer even more than they already are is sickening. If money needs to he saved, why not take it from places where there is a surplus of money, like the top 1%.

The US as a whole & the better off US citizens don't care about other US human beings.

This is why the US is gonna fail in the near future & China or some other country is gonna be running sh^t. We don't even like our own country anymore. Can't die for something you don't support or believe in anymore.

You fool. People can work full time at Wal Mart and still be too poor to live. The US government doesn't care about its poor people anymore.

If anything should be cut it's the military spending. There was no need to increase the budget for that.

That definitely seems more humane than cutting benefits for the poorest people.

It's amazing how certain people have been duped into thinking that the poor are the problem.

For sure. They blame the sickening wealth inequality we have on poor people "not working hard enough" as if there is no other explanation for it.
