its not surprising that a floydhype writer can deduce all this from a very short interview and blow it out of proportion and twist it any way he wants to. in any case, if floyd really wants to fight, why dont we hear any activity from floyd's camp. what the **** contract is floyd talking about when no one in his camp is making a move? they're all divas there in mayweatherland

and why does every article on floydhype shoots down any possible negotiations that media hears about. do these hypewriters really in favor of the fight happening?

They have already made a move smart guy. They reached out to Arum before and after the Marquez fight, directly and through a 3rd party. Arum has even admitted this. Come on people.

Why does BT have a problem with Arum or Team Pac possibly not wanting the May 5th date? Does it matter if its May 28th or May 5th? Its inconsequential and for that to be even a complaint in an article supposedly designed to discredit Arum wanting the fight is laughable.

The guy sounds ridiculous judging from the tone of that article...

Arum may be a pig of a man, but gets things done. He's about to royally screw Golden Boy in a master stroke. BT, stick to sniffing up Floyd's butt please, you sound like a disgruntled fan boy.

In your opinion, what would be Top Ranks problem with a May 5th date? How long do you think Manny would need to recover from a cut?

Because Manny said HIMSELF that he has no problem fighting Floyd on May 5th.

On top of this, Manny fought Shane Mosley on May 7th of this year. When was his fight before that? November 13th, 2010 with Antonio Margarito and he got a few broken ribs from that fight.

Manny's fight dates this year line up almost exactly with last year and Arum didn't have any problems making fights in 2011.

Watch the post-fight interview with Max Kellerman. Kellerman didn't even mention May 5th, he just said Floyd scheduled a fight in May. Manny knows what's up and so does Arum.

Arum is just afraid his cash cow will be dominated and lose.

I bet that if Manny knew what his fans were writing on the internet, he'd be embarrassed. I wish that Manny's fans were more like Manny. Manny doesn't trash talk even when prodded. When one writer wanted Pac to say some shit towards Floyd, he wouldn't go for it. Manny just said, "I don't like to anything bad towards another fighter."

Because it ****s up the plans Floyd made weeks before Pac-JMM even laced them up. He claims no negotiations are going on, but without even reaching out to Manny's side he booked the MGM for Cinco De Mayo (amid GBP's matchmaker's saying they're trying to make Morales or Canelo fights for him)... and we're supposed to believe he did so with Pacquiao in mind?

Part of the negotiations of this fight would be hearing the bids for the site fee (back in '09 Jerry Jones offered $25 mil, and both Arum and Schaefer said they were expecting eventual offers up to and exceeding $30 mil), so not having a set date and venue would be ideal.

But once again... the MGM on Cinco De Mayo was booked by Floyd weeks before Pac-JMM happened. You put it together.

If Floyd's side didn't take it back then (in terms of location), why do you think they'd take it now?

They won't, and weren't planning to. The fact he already had a date and venue set 2 weeks before Pac-JMM fought means he had other plans from the jump.
