Korobov was considered a better prospect than Jacobs who was already crushed by Pirog lmao, he was undefeated and being showcased by HBO for a future fight with ggg.

Korobov+Quillin+Jacobs were all seen as the future of the division, with Korobov and Quillin ahead of him because like I said DJ had already been beaten.

Lee took both men on at their peak and arguably beat them, robbed against Quillin for a bogus knock down.

Lee KO'ed Korobov, Quillen draw with Lee, Jacobs crushed Quillen.

Pre cancer Jacobs IS NOT the Jacobs that is today.

Quillin drew with Lee due to a bogus knock down. Take away the clear trip counted as a KD and Lee has Korobov-Quillin-Jackson on his resume which is equal if not better than DJ's wins over Truax-Quillin-Mora.

Like I said, lesser opponents have gone longer, taken more damage than Quillin vs Jacobs for a reason. Even Lee himself arguably has more 1 punch power than Jacobs and has multiple 1 punch KO's.

Post cancer Jacobs was still getting dropped by career JMW Mora. He's had the same defensive flaws throughout his entire career. In the amateurs it got him dropped/whooped by Korobov, in the pros it got him crushed by Pirog, it's gotten him dropped by Mora, etc.

Jacobs has NEVER looked like he was a world beater, it was only until he forced ggg to go life and death that he's been made into some unbeatable knockout machine. People talk about this dude like he's undefeated lol.

Korobov would arguably be the favorite vs Quillin based off the amateur performance, and Lee beat him.

Quillin was awarded a bogus knock down in round 3 that prevented Lee from winning. After blitzing him in the 1st 3 rounds the rest of the fight was Lee. Lee rocked Quillin 2x that fight, dropped him, and was tagging him clean throughout the fight. Quillin was scared to death to throw in the 2nd half because he was getting hurt too much.

Jacobs doesn't hit THAT hard and lesser fighters than Quillin have lasted longer against him. The fact that it ended so quickly in round 1 should tell you something was up with Quillin, and it was the beating he took the previous fight.
How can he be Lee's leftovers if Lee couldnt even beat him, do you understand how boxing works?
