    You're Canelo's promoter, he's going to fight September 15th 2012.

    Let's see who's available:

Floyd Mayweather Jr? Turned down Canelo, wanted a vacation.
Miguel Cotto? Turned down Canelo as well, said he needed a vacation.
Paul Williams? Nope, out of boxing forever.
    James Kirkland? Injured.
Victor Ortiz? Beaten by Josesito Lopez.
Lara? Martirosyan? They had a fight scheduled.
Carlos Molina? He just fought the month prior.

The podium is all yours, give us Canelo's next opponent for September 15th 2012.
Lara and Martirosyan only had a fight scheduled because Canelo turned them down. There was nothing stopping Canelo from fighting either of them. Carlos Molina was also free to fight Canelo before the Frias fight was made. Again, there was nothing preventing the Carlos Molina fight. Austin Trout, K9, and Rosado were also available.

What?? Hell no. ginger is a monster earner. He puts fans in the seats. So what if he doesn't fight anyone realistically halfway decent in the weight class he campaigns?? So what?? We have the Cotto's & the Marquez's to dare to be great. Fight fans should understand that boxing is a business that's only fair to certain cherrypickers.

Why did people suddenly forget that boxing is a business and its the fighters health on the line?

This is an outrage!!! Who cares about good fights. Let's count those ppv numbers!!!!

If they want Mayweather-Canelo to be HUGE, he needs to beat Trout. If Canelo wants anyone to believe he's going to be the guy to beat Mayweather, he needs to beat Trout, the best fight possible for him other than Mayweather.

If no Trout, I wouldn't mind Angulo or Kirkland I guess. Please no Cotto, he should fight the Smith/Bundrage winner.

It's very Canelo like to offer blown up welters Floyd and Cotto a fight 4 months after their last bout.

But you forgot JMM, he called him out as well.

                    • I don't see any realistic options for Canelo other than Floyd, Trout, Angulo, and Kirkland.

Carlos Molina will probably be stuck fighting the Lara/Vanes winner or something, and Bundrage/Smith winner will probably be fed to Cotto next in the summer.
