Yes, their is more factors involved like the addition of tax increases and the elimination of stupid spending.

It's pretty embarrassing that other countries can pull it off successfully but yet the greatest country can't.

Of course we can pull it off, the problem is is that health insurance is a huge business, that has been raking in record profits since Obamacare has been instituted. The ironic part is that we already have government sponsoring health insurance by subsidizing a vast amount of these private healthcare plans. If you're a family of 4 and make a median income of 60K, and then shop for a healthcare plan on the open market, government will pay for anywhere from 50-80% of your whole plan. So on top of medicare and medicaid government is also already paying for private plans anyways.

The other big problem is that the health insurance industry employs over half a million people, and no one wants to pay the political price of telling people who are in the health insurance industry that they're going to lose their jobs because we are about to move into a more efficient and better system.

The Trump administration already asked for a few billions to deal with it once it is here. Congress said that it will take a couple of weeks to approve it. I thought it is an emergency and it should be approved, ready to go with a solid plan and back up plan.
