Who could Khan fight even fight at welterweight these days where he would be a strong enough favourite that the fight could be viewed as a 'stay-warm' one ? There are only so-many feather-fisted Algieris out there.

And Brook can't make 147 any more no matter what he says. He was drained and ran out of gas in the 7th with Spence, and would do so again at 147 - he's a 6 round fighter at 147. So Khan up to 154 ? Presumably that means Khan can scour the landscape at 154 looking for brit level Algieris to squeak by maybe.

(found it for him - Stepan Horvath, KO% 33%, same as Algieri. A current or previous World Champion - not sure which (WBO Europe or something)).

I've been calling for this fight for a while..Most people dislike both these guys and would be happy knowing one of them would lose

Yep Brook is done at 147 and is not saying much about the weight problem do to the fact of the huge payday he would get with Khan.I was ringside for Spence and saw first hand him lost for stamina from as you rightly say R.7.

I actually think the plan is to get ole glass jaw out there very quick but Con can run and might be the one with more in the tank at welter down the stretch when again as you say Brook is blown at the weight after 6.

Even so I would bet loads on Brook to ice Con within 4 but to do it right he should have glass jaw to move up to light middle .Remember before he was knocked unconscious he was saying 155 was his weight , he felt great!

So it should be no problem for Con to put on a couple of pounds.........he won't .....that's Amir Con!

I think Khan would give Thurman trouble with all those winging punches Thurman throws style wise that fight may fancy Khan If Thurman can't KO him. I think Thurman has already been exposed to be not the fearsome puncher he wants people to believe he is and Khan is much bigger and longer...

Plus for some reason Khan does really well with people around Thurman's height that are not big boned like say Canelo or Maidana.. If your 5'7 and under you gonna have trouble with khan

If khan don't want brook he should just say. But he has said it, now he's changed mind again?
How many more times you want to be koed before fighting him?

Don't forget Khan is going to be coming off something like an 18 month lay-off since Canelo, and is also past his peak. Granted Thurman has had a lay-off too, but I can't see Khan lasting. Porter and Garcia are both top level and took Thurman to 12, but Khan is going to be hit a few times by Thurman and we might get to see the 'one-time' again.

Khan needs a much easier touch just for the activity alone, and his chin is always going to be an issue, especially after that Canelo KO which was as brutal as they get. His defence is too patchy and he still trades at the wrong times.

                Cause of greed obviously

If anyone out there seriously believes that Brook deserved 4 million quid with Khan getting 6 million, Before Brook fought any of Golovkin OR Spence, then you are equally delusional as Edward and Brook.

why not? did khan even fight in the uk anymore? how well did his fights do when he did? brook had 18k against gavin so pretty sure 40 percent is fair. khan wasnt even a huge star in the usa and didnt fight in the uk so you dont get fantasy popularity points
