  • So which Olympic boxers will be fighting on CBS?

For boxing's return to network TV CBS will follow the career path of whatever members of the US Olympic boxing team turn pro. So far they're guaranteed two dates on October 17th and December 15th.

Not sure this is going to be the ratings giant Canelo would have been but it's an interesting choice none the less. Basically, it's like CBS wanted a deal with boxing but Oscar, being the lazy, greedy schmuck that he is just went "meh" anf threw these guys at them.

If they have any sense they'll get Lomachenko.

has to be a US boxer. US boxing isn't advanced enough to recognise the existence of foreign people.

So it looks like six of the eight Olympian will be fighting on CBS on the dates given. Have to be honest, this is the laziest most unimaginative way Oscar could have brought boxing back to network TV. Adamek vs Jennings on NBC would actually be a step up from this.
