Cotto deserves a mention.

So if Canelo beats him, Canelo gets no credit because he beat a journey man? Ok, fair enough!

Nah, Rosado never made into contender territory. He's always been a journeyman.
I'd say Robert Guerrero.

Truth be told, yeah.
Canelo has a lot to lose and not much to gain in that fight.
Cotto only has so many people fooled with his "amazing against all odds comeback" vs expired leftovers.
If Canelo walks through him people will just say big deal Cotto is shot. And they might be right.
If on the other hand Cotto catches him and wins, his comeback becomes real and Canelo becomes a meme.
In risk/rewards it's an inherently lopsided fight, which makes it all the more puzzling why Cotto was so reluctant in negotiations.

Sad thing is, same people claiming Cotto is shot or is a journeyman are going to be celebrating like Canelo beat a great! You know, the NSB Effect!

Robert Guerrero.
$3 Million for fighting Mayweather, $1.25 Million for fighting Thurman, $1 Million for fighting Kamegai, $1 Million for fighting Aron Martinez.
