There's Luis Garcia in the CW ranks who was a highly touted prospect that fought out of Ireland some years back and fell off the map, he's back and has a fight lined up.
Neslan Machado is an exciting prospect. Marcos Forestal is up & coming he had an extensive amateur background and fought in WSB.

Lara, Rigondeaux, Gamboa were all world champions two were unified world champions. Rances was a two weight world champion, Abril was a world champion that never lost his belt in the ring same with Yoan Pablo Hernandez. I wouldn't call them overrated. All those had 250-400 amateur fights most of them are past their physical prime before they turn pro.

The best Cuban amateur of them all right now is 2x Olympic gold medalists Robeisy Ramirez.

If he ever turns pro he will dominate.

Joahnys Argilagos, their #1 light flyweight (108 lbs), defected recently and will probably turn up in the pros soon. Frank Sanchez, the #2 heavyweight (200 lbs) behind Erislandy Savon, also defected within the last couple of years
