lol this thread cost me to waste like 20 minutes I googled it and ended up watching buzzfeed videos about "AMERICANS DRINK SO AND SO"

and no I never tried it and never will I dont even drink liqour really, lsat time i drank patron I was hung over for like 3-4 days.

Absinthe you buy now isn't actual absinthe. It did used to make the drinker hallucinate until it was banned.

That's what I was told. Also that you can still get the old absinthe in Europe but not in the U.S.

No, it does. One of our coworkers is old school European, they're house looks like the mansion in the first Narnia movie. She had the whole set up, smuggled absinthe, dripper, spoons, glasses all made of mercury but we didn't drink from those. Its good ****.
