JMM was a legit top 3 p4p guy and a hall of famer...no one has beat him like that before or since so Floyd gets credit....Floyd has fought across 5 weight classes and has only had a fighter move up to face him less than 5 times

so it was cool when Floyd was fighting ODLH who picked the ring size, glove size, Floyd only had 7 fights over 135 and never fought at 154 prior to the DLH

Maidana, Canelo outweighed him by 15 or more pounds

Jose Luis Castillo came in as a welterweight for their fights and he weighed 138

it comes with the territory when you move up in weight, no one makes excuses for Floyd because he wins regardless of size...skills pay the bills...not size, otherwise Margarito would have been an ATG welterweight

JMM had problems with Mayweather because he tried to box and counterpunch a faster, longer, quicker, smarter, just all around better fighter....JMM had to get out of his comfort zone to beat Mayweather and he didnt engage enough or take enough risks in the fight....which is why he went for the ko vs Pac in fight 4...he knew he wasnt going to get a dec...especially seeing how he clearly outboxed Manny in fight 3
