You seem to be focusing on Golvkin.

When in fact, he's just one of several fighters that are better than the people Sergio has been fighting recently. Do you really not know this?

If Martinez has a competitive fight with Murray like he did with Macklin/Barker, the amount of criticism is going to be heavy in here. Then people will go back to calling him a "hype-job" or "overrated" until he beats someone deemed worthy.

So if Murray had beaten someone like Proksa, he'd be a worthy opponent?

He'd be a worthy opponent if he was actually good. He's a European level fighter at best

And once Martinez beats Golovkin that's the status he'd be relegated to as well.

Ok well when's he gonna do that? Because DiBella seems to have no interest in making that fight.

Golovkin can't fight Sergio because it doesn't make "financial sense" which is a legitimate complaint and GGG just got his first big win against Proska. But Sturm had been ducking him for the better part of two years. Geale just stone-cold ducked him to take on Mundine. Even Quillin recently said that he doesn't want to fight Golovkin. If he can't take these guys on to increase his exposure how is he going to be in a position to become economically viable? How is he supposed to land a fight against the champ if he can't even get fights against contenders?
Really not fair at all, I think Golovkin might be smart in moving up to 168 for his next fight, he might have a better shot at fighting Ward (who really has noone to fight he hasn't already smoked) than Sergio whose got his choice of 6-7 quality, better-money fights.

well Dibella said ish about Chavez and how Martinez never needed him, but the fight still happened. I'm sure it will happen down the road.

That doesn't really make sense, it's a fight that should happen.

The only way I see Golovkin/Martinez happening is if GGG beats Geale or Quillin first. Martinez/Murray is going to force these guys to fight.
