Canelo testing negative 4 clenbuterol in hair is very important. Seems WADA will soon establish an allowable limit for trace amounts of clenbuterol in urine & hair. No doubt. Canelo having no clenbuterol detected in a hair sample should mitigate his consequences. Game changer.

Hair is a scientifically valid sample type 4 clenbuterol testing in the Canelo case. Yes there are variations w/ hair color. However they measure at picogram concentrations. A picogram is equal to one trillionth of a gram. This is ultra trace analysis by a WADA accredited lab.

bit late now, even if exonerated that may 5th fight is gone. should have waited on hair test before suspension/pulling out the fight, shame really.

it does also show no other peds been used by him too, I think they should just take routine hair sample from fighters, establishing a constantly testable history for proving innocence/guilt

Canelo had very low traces consistent with meat contamination. He lives in a country with major problem with this stuff in their meat. He provided Nevada with receipts to prove the meat he ate. And then volunteered to take a hair test which can distinguish between meat and PED use for Clenbuterol because meat is such low traces and leaves your body in about 1 week. Canelo is innocent you idiots. He would never of submitted a hair test if he was on PEDs not only would it show if he was abusing Clenbuteral but steroids and other PEDS will stay in your hair for up to 6 months. His test came back NEGATIVE not just for Clenbuterol but for any PEDs. And now even Victor Conte is saying this exonerates Canelo. He just did something that other athletes and fighters REFUSED to do to prove his innocence.

The hair test results for clenbuterol in the Canelo case are MORE revealing than the urine results in regards 2 possible intent to cheat. Hair results represent a longer period of time than urine results. If they had found more than 20 pg/mg of clenbuterol in his hair. BINGO!

Attacking the scientific credibility of hair testing for clenbuterol because of color variations is simply an uninformed argument. Many drug tests have all kinds of variations. Urine samples can be diluted or concentrated. Asians have much lower T/E ratios compared to blacks etc.

It was meat why the phuk would the testing agency release the failed test if they were in on this and now just lying about his hair results? Use your brain. The witch hunt is over. The most plausible excuse for the failed test was always meat. Low traces consistent with meat when he lives in a country with major problem with this stuff in his meat. Folks hatred and GGG's rant is why we got to where we are. Now a lot of folks look stupid today.

You guys would be well served to discover the meaning of science. It's not about bending reality to fit your opinion. In this case, we should look at the evidence and base opinions on that. So many are horny about the idea of Canelo being a cheat that they post embarrassing things like that^ mess.
