I meant the way boxing is structured today, being undefeated in the minds of the hardcore fight fans means they are cherry picking. It doesn't mean if Floyd lost to a nobody he will be considered greater like you are insinuating. Who knows? If he fought everybody and won every fight his resume his undeniable but the politics limits the resume and that is just a fact whether your bias eyes sees that or not.

Floyd is undefeated while facing MORE world champions than ANYONE in history. so who ever you name never faced the level of champions that Floyd has at different weights and divisions. And he's still UNDEFEATED. They're are more crybabies with a computer now, remember throughout the history of boxing EVERY black champion has been hated, just for the fact they were black. So nothing has changed with that, How is someone that has or get beat better than someone who hasnt faced a defeat? When you lose, you were not at the top of your game and had a off night. Floyd, as much as you guys hate him, has been on game every fight, no one has been able to catch him with a lucky punch or out point him but people that do are considered awesome.... you better appreciate what youre seeing, cause floyd is gonna walk all over pac and then maybe a few of you will come around, but watch some people will still hate the skill he demonstrates consistently.

Mayweather isn't unbeaten. Did you watch the first Castillo fight? He lost that. I don't care what the judges cards were. So that zero means nothing.

Being an undefeated world champion doesn't mean the same thing as it once did.

How could it, with 4 world titles and more than one "World Champion" in every division?

Who will be the next undefeated and undisputed World Champion?

Which of today's alphabet champs will have both the ability to defeat the other belt holders in his division, and the balls to chase them down and make it happen?

I see 3 possible candidates: Rigo, Golovkin and Kovalev.

Of these 3, Kovalev seems to be in the best position to achieve his goal and give the fans something they haven't seen in a long time - an Undefeated and Undisputed Champion of the World.

You have a good point. Too much belts out there especially with the "regular" and "super champions". It will be a lot easier to eliminate those belts and have only 2 legitimate belts. That way we know who truly are the champions and the belts will actually mean more as oppose to now where it seems everyone is champion.

floyd is undefeated while having never faced a prime first ballot HOF in his life

It means you are superior to every guy you faced in competition. Which is important in boxing because second place is losing.

What that means is different for every single guy because no two careers are alike. Not losing is still a positive though, since the objective is winning.
