  • Why did Seahawks decline the ball after toss coin?

    I'm a Pinoy so I don't much about nfl.

    They do that every game.

They do so because they have a dominant defense. In fact, NO team has scored on them in an opening possession all year. So their defense shuts them down 100% of the time and they get the ball at the start of the second half.

For a few aspects. They are a defensive team, so its really a statement; i.e. our best is better than your best. Also, at the beginning of huge games theres alot of jitters, which mostly affects the offense. The hawks like to take advantage of that, and hopefully(and in this case DID) establish momentum for their team

you see that **** they ran on ESPN last night about the #12?

12 seconds it took them to score that safety

12 mins into the half when Lynch scored a TD

12 seconds into the second half for Harvin to run it back

                  48 points (4+8=12)

                  Seattle total points 43 (4x3=12)

The reptilian Illuminati Freemasons love the number 12

Do teams that refused the ball after toss coin always get ball at the start of second half, regardless who has the ball after 2nd quarter?
