Since 2010, Mayweather has beaten Mosley, Cotto, Canelo, Maidana (2x), and Pacquiao.

Canelo has beaten Mosley (after Mayweather), Trout, Lara (controversial), Cotto (after Mayweather), Khan, and Golovkin (controversial).

Mayweather > Canelo. Especially if he beats Pacquiao again in 2019.

Crawford and Lomachenko have accomplished a lot but they lack the big names on their resumes.

This leaves the award opened for someone like Canelo Alvarez, who starting in 2013, has fought nothing but opponents that fans wanted him to fight: Mayweather, Cotto, Lara, Golovkin x2, Trout. Along with lesser, but still big name fighters like Chavez Jr, Angulo, Kirkland, and Khan. There is no one that fans btched about that he has to fight, that he didn't fight, AT the time they were btching about it.

Canelo Alvarez is the clear favorite to win FOTD imo. No doubt.

      Poll coming.
clenelo hasnt beaten any elite opponent without controversial judging and tested positive for banned substance he has an embarrassing loss on his resume where he did nothing lol that will be held against him. I believe crawford or loma will win it. crawford will win it for sure if he beats spence and unifies 147 while remaining undefeated. crawford also unified all the belts at 140.

I would give it to canelo if he beat all the fighters on that list, but he lost to a lot of them lol. Even that trout fight was close.

Lomachenko shut down Gary Russel Jr, Walters, Rigondeaux and moved up to take a belt against linares.

He is without a doubt, the greatest fighter in the world.

Agreed, as long as he maintains his same incredible standards throughout 2019/2020.

It's not just the caliber of fighters he beat, but the way he beat them.

Lomachenko dominated a guy who was supposed to be unbeatable.
Lomachenko dominated a guy who was supposed to be too strong for him.

Nobody else has beat Rigondeaux except loma and he probably stopped fighting.

Nobody else has beat Walters except loma and he hasn't fought since.

Nobody else has beat Gary Russel Jr.

Lomachenko has dominated the best of the best. Implying he's the best of the best.

                      1. Canelo
                      2. Loma
                      3. Crawford

Close tight battle, and still highly dependent on what they’ll do the final year.
