If breach of contract costs him his full first match purse... would you still refuse to fight Joshua in the uk?

People saying it doesn't matter... AJ will just stay on the outside and clinch in close the whole fight. Similar tactics he used against Joseph Parker. He'll win a decision easy like that, won't have to engage.

Considering Joshua was stopped by Ruiz, anything short of a KO win in the rematch does little to vindicate him or raise his stock.

Like Wlad used to do and like Fury did in the Wlad fight? Is that illegal?

I'm pretty sure that's an opinion not a fact.

This is an all-or-nothing situation for Anthony Joshua at this point. No doubt they will do everything in their power to get them belts back in AJ's possession. Think... Howard Foster referee, European judges who Eddie Hearn has paid off in the past, AJ not being held to the same testing standards. Yea, fook all that! If they give Ruiz $50m, he is basically selling them the belts back.
If the rematch clause allows Joshua's side to choose the venue, what choice does Ruiz have?

The UK refs are the worst when it comes to cheating to make the UK hero win. It's unbelievable what they will do to get the win for their man.

Eddie Hearn doesn't sound convinced when he talks about the rematch taking place in the UK. It's like he wants to make it happen there, and wants others to believe it will, but he still sounds unsure. I think Ruiz is on to something here. He's asking for $50 mil to make it happen in the UK which sounds like he's negotiating something that according to Hearn was already set in stone. So, I'd hope Ruiz keeps it here at home. They'll try to take it away from him in the UK. He's the champ. He's got the muscle right now and he should flex it.
