Bob Arum and Teofimo Lopez have drawn their proverbial lines in the sand. Their respective stances have placed the unbeaten IBF lightweight champion's showdown with Vasiliy Lomachenko in jeopardy. They're tentatively scheduled to fight October 3 in Las Vegas, but Arum disagrees with Lopez and Lopez's manager, David McWater, on how much money the biggest fight of Lopez's career should be worth to him.

Bob Arum responds to Teofimo Lopez's camp rejecting the 1.2 million dollar offer, and this is what he had to say:

Bob Arum: “Well, this guy for the last two years wants this fight, always asking me to make a fight with Vasyl Lomachenko. He finally gets a title, and he has the opportunity to make a unification bout. Everyone wants to see it. So I am trying to broker this fight for the past seven months, trying to work out a deal, trying to get ESPN to bring forth this money. They finally do, and what does he do? He’s offered 1.2 million dollars and, once again, this is on regular free ESPN. So what does he do? He tries to hijack the event, forcing it onto the Pay-Per-View platform, to get the minimum amount of eyeballs on it. And he wants more money.

"So basically I told him, ‘Look, we want this on regular ESPN to get millions of viewers.’ And he insisted, he and his dad both, that they want more money. So I said: ‘Well, it’s not going to happen. Either take the 1.2 million dollars or you are going to be forced to defend your bull**** title against your bull**** mandatory for three-hundred thousand.’ And what do they say? They pick three-hundred thousand to fight their bull**** mandatory, so I am done with this. I don’t know what to do about this.”

LoL. No doubt. No doubt. What a damn fool Teofimo is. From now on I'll refer to him as Feofemale, the FakeOver aka "Broken-nose."

Part of me kind of liked this kid, but I'm done. He's boycotted. I won't pay for a single one of his fights here on out.

if i was loma i think i would throw this kid 150k that might smooth his ego a bit and he might take it, i want to see this fight, thats what taylor did with serrano so she could get her full fee but she still didnt take it so who knows!
