  • Scenes in TV shows/movies where they rolled the credits without any music

You can always tell shit has gone down when this happens.

Tbh that’s the only part of the joker that I felt was missing. It was such a gripping movie that I feel the credits didn’t deserve music and should have allowed the audience to get deep in thought to what they had just witnessed, I’m silence.

You guys remember any tv’s shows or movies that ended this way? (Or at least should have?)

    Feel free to post them

This scene in family matters should have ended with zero credits. I truly feel like this was a turning point and a weird way, a special episode. It hit home for many and pushed the boundaries.

I was also really confused through the whole clip, i mean seriously? they live in chicago in the early 90s, and they're obviously not going to some gentrified private school

in what universe does a white dude spraypaint that word in a public school in chicago in the early 90s and not get beat to death?

They did in the Sopranos. I think the episode is Full Metal Jacket. Christopher gets shot and then Tony says, "How could this happens?" We hear Chris breathing through the ventilator but that's it. No music. Definitely made it more powerful.

They definitely don't use this technique often enough. I agree.

I’m ashamed to say I never watched sopranos. I need to get on that.

I think at the end of cloverfield they did the same. That film got shįt on big time but I really enjoyed it

No Country For Old Men has no movie score whatsoever

Yeah, that's true. It's eerily quiet. I think that made it better honestly. A lot of movies get to be too loud and obtrusive with the music. It helps sometimes but can detract at others. The original Psycho would not have been nearly as good without the music but I've seen many movies and shows where the music just played like the whole time and was annoying as hell after a while.

There will be Blood has such an annoying music score (by the Radio Head guy) that it killed the movie for me and I've never watched it again. I'd love to see the movie again but without the score.
