  • Also i'd take Willian too from Chelsea, that boy is made for our style of play, along with Kante.

    Double swoop.

How's 80m for the pair sound? I'll get my people onto this asap.

No point Chelsea keeping them any longer, their buying trophies era is over. Roman's got bored. Back to going life and death for a top 8 finish they go.

Kante and Willian to us, Hazard is off to PSG and the rest are all Chelsea level. You can keep the rest of them bums.

    • Willian is very inconsistent he is playing his best football in his career right now though

He will be 30 next year I wouldn't mind Chelsea selling him and Pedro in the summer tbh

Good point, didn't know he was that old.

Will tell my people to lower the offer, 70m for the pair.

          • Kante is worth more than Coutinho bro £150M at least for the best midfielder in the league .

surprised Liverpool or Manchester City didn't go in for him only Chelsea and United did

            • Kante was undervalued, like the rest of Leicester's stars; Mahrez and Vardy.

I think Mahrez would improve Chelsea as well.

Cabellero also talks. Big Nose doesn't say shit until after the game is finished and he has an opportunity to throw a team mate under the bus or defend what a bum he is.
No he was quite reliable for his last 18 months or so. He had the dodgy tag up until he won us the shootout in the league cup final in 2016, from there he went from strength to strength. Started a lot of games towards the back end of last season if I remember rightly.

I maintain that a player like Kante wouldn't have a place in a team like City's. He isn't a breaker of lines with his passing and he isn't good when receiving the ball under pressure (one of Fernandinho's only weaknesses too, better than Kante at it though).

He is however a much better carrier of the ball than I previously thought. In the Leicester game especially, thought he excelled in the more advanced role with Bakayoko sitting in behind him. So at least Bakayoko's presence offered something to Chelsea in an indirect way.

But as a #6 he doesn't play for City and as a #8 he definitely doesn't play for City apart from 4/5 times a season.

Honest opinions on the CL tie Roy?

I think you'll edge it at Anfield but we'll have a bit too much for you over the 2 legs. Won't be putting money on it like.

Fullbacks key to the tie. Can whoever plays RB for you keep Sane quiet for 180 mins? I'm aware of the Salah threat, not sure who out of Delph/Zinchenko/Danilo/Mendy(?) would play there to stop him. Delph went off after 10 mins of the league game at Anfield, feel like we would've been a lot more solid with him back there for the full game.

I say 5-3 City on agg. 4-1 at the Etihad.

                  • Chelsea really should have bought Vardy. It was a no brainer.

He is the only striker in the league who can be effective with literally zero help. Conte would have loved him. He was fixated on the big man thing. Vardy reclaims so much bad ball it's incredible. He gets s lot of percentage passes, harries defenders, or just forced errors and he has that ****** stamina that just never goes down.

It is probably from playing footy for so many years in the lower league with bad players.

Chelsea, Spurs, or Arsenal really should have bought Vardy. I can't make a compelling argument for why any of them couldn't use him.

I'd still probably buy him in the summer even if he's 32, if they can't get an obvious world class striker but I'm not sure who that is. If we can't get Lewandowski which I doubt he'd join us with no CL and a host of better teams after him, just get Vardy.

Chelsea's summer depends on what happens with Hazard.

We need to sell him before the World Cup though. He won't do anything at the World Cup. Too big of an event. Too many people care about it. He can't perform under those conditions.

Really, I can't believe he really wants to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid I'll believe it when I see it. PSG...maybe.

Do u get the feeling Liverpool was one of the hardest ties for City? I reckon City would have the beating of Barca/Madrid fairly easy atm
