The Juniors were not favored in certain boxing era's. At times they were considered stepping stones as a fighter moved up in weight! They have their place I guess, personally I don't like them! I don't think that 8 to 12 pounds overwhelmes talent differences!!! Its all about talent & gaining experience not weight! Ray.
