2012... the state of the Welterweight Division is depressing
In the late '90s we had Oscar De La Hoya, Ike Quartey, Shane Mosley, Felix Trinidad.
Currently we have Bradley, Malignaggi, Alexander, and Mayweather
Bradley has no business holding a 147lbs strap, he got a gift
Malignaggi is a discrace to the term Welterweight champion
Alexander fought perhaps the most boring 147lbs title fight vs ancient Randall Bailey. Dude is a cure for insomnia.
Floyd is the only legitimate titleholder but he won't fight Manny. Oscar fought Tito, Ike and Shane... that's what champions do, fight the best in their division. Man up Floyd, fight Manny.
Imagine what Tito would do to the current group of so called Welterweight Champions....
**** imagine what Nonito Donaire would do to Paulie Malignaggi right now!?!?!?!!?
You know ****'s bad when the current 122lbs Champ can come up to Welter and knock off the WBA "champ"!
