Questions about shadow boxing..
1. I feel STIFF!! What do you guys do to loosen up? Sometime i feel my punches are coming out slow because my arms and shoulders feel stiff...
2. When shadowboxing, how much power do you put into your punches or do you just throw loose punches with no power behind them?

shadow box slowly at first and allow your arms to fully extend. once your warmed up loosen up the joints by rolling your arms and slowly maximising your range of motion. then carry on shadow boxing with proper technique at full speed or close to it.

1. warm up properly and stretch out.
2. i always make sure i throw a punch like im hitting a target after my trainer told me to. thats at the end of the punch though, i dont always pivot and turn my hips like i was trying to knock someones head of. i mix it up like i would in a fight. always changing the speed, power and angle of my punches and mixing up the rhytm of my combinations.
