Can lomachenko go down as one of the greatest of all time?

Ability wise I think he's up there with the very best and in the history of the sport no-one has done what he has done in the amateurs or in such a short space of time as a pro. What would he have to do in next few years to be in with a shout of being a top 10 fighter of all time?

Yes he can. If he beats these young studs like Haney, Lopez, Stevenson etc? Then why not? Continue doing what he is doing and he can make a strong case. Obviously he started late in the pros and lost a lot of years to the amateur game, but if he takes out these youngsters, those wins are going to only look better and better as time goes on.

What do you mean by "nobody's done what he's done"?

            I don't even think he's had 20 fights.
His best win was against a semi retired 38 year old who moved up in weight to fight him.
He never avenged his defeating solido.

If he fights another 8 years and racks up some great wins, then may be....
But as it stands now he is mostly just talent and hype.

Stevenson and Savon both equalled and actually surpassed his achievements as an amateur.

Based on his outstanding amateur career and outstanding pro career thus far, I’d say he already is an ATG.

I don’t think he can go down as one of the GOAT based on resume but in terms of ability he’s not too far away. He just needs a few wins over an elite fighter in his prime to take him to the next level. That’s what separates guys like Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Leonard, Jones etc.

Unfortunately there’s probably nobody on that that level between 126-135 unless guys like Lopez, Haney, Tank etc become far better than we expect.

Coming from somebody of mixed race, d***heads like him make a mockery of civil rights.

Wouldn't Nicholas Walters also be a very good win? Loma has a decent resumé and a very good one for the stage he's at.
