Both are/were amazing, Lennon always appealed to me more but McCartney is still a legend.

Did you know the Rolling Stones first hit, "I wanna be your man" was written by Lennon-McCartney

Lennon is a run away fav cause he died and became (even more of) an icon cause of that. But its Paul.

I prefer Lennon. I used to listen to the Beatles a lot more in the past. I've become burned out on them now though.

In fact, if I had to rate them, I'd go: Lennon, Harrison, McCartney.

"While my guitar gently weeps" is better than MOST of what Paul has done.
