Hey newbie. Mayweather anticipated that and fought Marquez already. Oh boy you should review the fight. Same weight, younger faster Marquez.

If anything, it made Mayweather's better.

Whether it be right or wrong, the majority of people 10-20 years will say "Mayweather shut out the guy who knocked Pacquaio flat on his face ala Duran-Hearns".

That's depends if Mayweather goes on to lose or not though.

funny how manny get props for not taking a test marquez took the only person really looking good is marquez.

he fought manny 4 times and fought floyd took the damn test and lost like a man.

the only g here is marquez not manny and not floyd.

I guess we are going to act like like Floyd didn't whitewash Marquez

So Floyd, who casually boxed the **** out of Marquez without ever once having to use his size, shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Marquez?

              Yeah ... that makes sense.

Let JMM rematch Floyd and watch the same fight twice. Maybe even worse now as JMM takes lots more chances.

Pacquiao can still get the business as well. I'm sure his asking price has gone down considerably.

Two different versions of Marquez, certainly.

All this did was take away a very important fight from Mayweathers legacy.
His legacy is the same as it was yesterday.

The one that has risen is Marquez. Finally did he put an exclamation point over his wonderful career.

One sure thing: Marquez' legacy took a huge leap last night.

This, in turn, greatly adds to Mayweather's legacy.

And finally,Pacquiao's legacy has dropped quite a bit over the past year.

Mannys legacy is intact....people remember the in prime years of a fighter, just because a fighter loses past his prime or gets hit with the ultimate shot in a fight he was cleanly winning does not hurt legacies....

Duran and Ali are classic examples buddy

This does add to mayweathers legacy but thats because he hardly has one, just a dude who avoided prime fighters if you look into him. His legacy is the biggest draw in boxing after Ali, that is what he will be remembered for
