KO Digest was live at the "Fight to Educate" official weigh-in which was held at Boynton's Taproom in Manchester, NH on September 20, 2011, a day before the scheduled fights. There was not much in the way of drama but one of the main event fighters, Saul Duran, was approximately 2.5 lbs over his agreed upon weight limit of 157 lbs so they sent him to the gym to go sweat it off, but not before Duran was seen inexplicably munching on a candy bar AFTER failing to make weight! Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade, the other half of the main event and the star of the show, weighed in at a fit and ready 156.2, officially.

Co-main event fighter Jose "Stinger" Medina gave everyone cause for concern when he didn't show up on time, citing traffic. When he got on the scale, he weighed in at 161.6.

An hour after failing to make weight the first time on the scale, Saul Duran was back from the sauna and weighed in successfully at 157 lbs.

All fighter official weights were as follows:

      Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade, 156.2
      Saul "Baby" Duran, 157

      Jose "Stinger" Medina, 161.6
      Anibal Acevedo, 162.6

      Danny O'Connor, 144.8
      Jamal Del Cid, 145.4

      Dan Powers, 120.8
      Luis Rosario, 129.6

      Chris Gilbert, 157.2
      Noel Garcia, 147.4

The "Fight To Educate" professional boxing card takes place at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH on September 21, 2011 at 8PM.

Tickets can be purchased through the Verizon Wireless Arena or through any Ticketmaster location.

Tickets are priced at $50 and $25.
