A flat plane is not required to hold water. If a plane were truly flat water would run off the edges. All that required to contain water on a globe is a force to hold it down. Since a globe is round water cannot leak off the edges because there aren't any edges. Gravity holds the water to the earth the same way it holds an object down. The gravity of the moon creates tides that are in sync with the rotation of the earth the same rotation that creates night and day.

Do you realize how high up you have to be to see the curve? For you to be able to even begin to see the curve, you would have to be high enough that the chicago skyline wouldn't be visible.



Do us all a favor and take a geometry class. The earth is 8000 miles in diameter, 4000 miles deep.

You just don't get it do you? Chicago should not be visible from 46 miles away, it should be hidden beyond the curvature of the earth, but its not, you can just zoom in on it, the same way you can zoom in on boats going over the fantasy curve that scientists claim exists.

All of Nasa's fake images are a perfect sphere, you can take a circle in photoshop and place it perfectly around it.
