That mag was out of press for a while wasn't it?? I know THE RING will be 100 in 2022 and was pretty sure that was the oldest boxing mag that put out an issue every year. I could be wrong, but I thought they were out of business at different times.BTW nice pic I always thought Benitez was the "5th king"

Subscribed to Boxing News for several years, before I lost some interest in the sport
(blame the boxing orgs - a sport with more champions than challengers isn't worth following.)

Before internet, Boxing News was the internet - the most important voice, updating you
every Friday when it arrived in the mailbox.
At times, it was delivered late, not arriving until Monday. Which meant, your weekend had been ruined :-)
