  • Ruiz vs Joshua II might be on PPV

    Hmmmm

Joshua has a first right of refusal deal with DAZN. If they can't match what another network is paying he can fight off DAZN.

This is all very preliminary and just somethings I heard was being floated out there. FOX putting together a enticing package for Ruiz & Joshua to stage a PPV fight on FOX. The rematch is to big to leave all that money on the table. DAZN is going to have to break the bank for AJ & Ruiz to keep this fight.

        Something you heard from who?

PBC can breach the contract and litigation would scatter the belts but it would be very stupid if they didn't put Matchroom as lead promoter in the rematch clause

Matchroom has exclusive contract with DAZN

Why did Whyte fight on Showtime if matchroom has an exclusive contract with DAZN. Why did Hooker fight on ESPN?

It's the end of DAZN if true.

Their big selling point is that it allows people to get good fights without having to fork over cash for PPV.

If PBC get into AJs ear it’s over. After the argument between AJs father and Hearn it’s not far fetched that he’d decline to fight on DAZN for more money on Fox PPV

lol Hearn will do all he can to not let that happen. He has has been screaming ppv is dead in the US since Dazn launched and if his biggest star then fights on Fox PPV it won’t look good for him.

Whyte was in the UK and Toprank won the purse bid and promoted the Hooker fight

If they fight on Fox assuming it's in the USA it's going to be a PBC card

Whyte doesn't have a contract with a U.S broadcaster, he's also his own manager and has a fight by fight deal with matchroom.
