  • What ever happend to Deadly Art of Shootfighting????

That was ken shamrocks martial art style and he had a place called lions den shootfighting academy.

But whatever happend to the martial art itself, to me it was the most well rounded it was like catch wrestling and muay thai in one mix. You would think that would be the most popular martial arts due to the success of mma but it seems like no one talks about it or no mma gym offers it.

The sport keeps evolving... Is better to have the best possible coaches in every different aspect of the game than one "shootfighting" coach. If you go to any gym you will find a boxing coach a wrestling coach, a BJJ or ground coach and a conditioning one.

Yeah but you still need a coach to show you how to put all your skills together.
