  • De La Hoya Was Drinking Since Nine Years Old

I just saw the translated Univision interview from 2011, didn't know about how De La Hoya got introduced to alcohol.

When he was 9 years old there would be big family parties and De La Hoya was told to go to the fridge and bring beer. While grabbing the beer he sips some off the top. Doing this 20 - 30 times a night he ends up drunk by the end of the night.

Another thing admitted was that he used to do shots of tequila a few minutes before some fights.

      What a G.

Hope he stays sober, though. Must be hard with all that money.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was molested as a young boy ( no joke )

From his mom's passing and something else is there, this man is not in a good place at all.

For sure. It's not out of the ordinary.
