Nobody liked rigondeaux because even tho he was a super skilled fighter he was so boring and after he quit against Loma now everyone just buried him , just retire rigo

Shame he was signed to TR who had a vendetta after he exposed Donaire

Pushing 40 now wouldn't mind seeing him pick up a belt and have one last big fight next year before calling it a career

Rigo is still the best in that division.

one of my favorites. rigo was a total boss that fight. another i dug was his fight against this HUGE japanese dude whos name i forget.

hes been in plenty of good fights. still totally disappointed for his halfassed show and forfeit against lomachenko, but im happy hes been back in the ring.

            and phukc bob arum.

Glad to see rigo back in it, His style lends itself to him still being able to fight pushing 40, hope he gets some good matches in and stays tf active.

Ceja just got stopped in his last fight but this bout is a final eliminator, lmao.

                WBC love that PBC payola.

It feels like an eternity since he last fought. I think it's hard to think of another fighter who's had a more underwhelming career compared to their skillset.

He may have spoiled Arum's apple cart, but he himself tossed fans away with his style of fighting. Rigo is no victim. He had no fans, had crappy management (Caribe) and did nothing himself to improve his profile. Remember fans would leave the Arena when he fought. He had plenty of chances to dazzle, but he gave a ton of fizzle instead.
