Joshua then picks up the WBA and WBO belts, offering fair percentages to both Klitschko and Parker (while the WBA conveniently allows the mandatory Ortiz to be sidestepped). But then shocks the boxing world by only offering a flat fee to the only champion that existed before his title reign? Funny, eh?
Wilder has been offered much more than both Klitschko and Parker made, he still doesn;t want the fight.
Joshua then says, hey, if you think this is a $100 million fight, give me $50 million and I'll fight him tomorrow. He gets that against 50%!! Joshua declines, claiming he needs to fight in the UK but still only offers a flat fee to Wilder. Fights an older Povetkin instead three weeks after an imaginary WBA 24hr deadline is suddenly enforced.
Wilder kept slow timing signing the contract. Wilders team knew the WBA was pressuring Hearn to make the Povetkin fight. Finkel was giving interviews telling the media he was going to send the contract back in a week with adjustments in a week. Why would it take a week, he obviously knew what he wanted adjustments. Because it was bs to stall until Hearn was forced to make the Povetkin fight, it worked, Bravo.
Wilder fights Fury in a fight of the year candidate. He immediately wants to run it back to remove any doubt and this is when Joshua offers a 40% split. Joshua decides to fight Miller over Whyte, after which Fury runs off to ESPN and refuses to fight Wilder next. So Wilder is mandated to fight Braezaele.
Sorry, the facts show that Joshua avoided Wilder until Wilder fought Fury. After their respective fights, an undisputed clash is right there to be made.

Think about it for a minute. Slowly if you need to. Why in the hell would the WBC enforce a mandatory with their champion on the short end? Dumb aren't you......

Eddie Hearn on rejecting the $50 million offer:

Stephen Espinoza, the president of Showtime, on twisted BT conspiracy logic regarding the Sky Sports offer from Showtime (after 10:00):
Lou DiBella absolutely destroys BT controversy, exploding "NO!!! Who's saying the fight will be on BT????" (from 47:30 - 53:50)

Originally posted by Robbie Barrett View PostFacts are. Wilder has turned down 12.5 mil, 15 mil, 40%, 100 mil deal and a 120 mil deal. Claiming lowballs etc while never making anything close to those offers. He's now back on regular Showtime, proving without Joshua or Fury he isn't a draw.

Wilder was busy with Fury rematch negotiations and a Braezaele mandatory. It doesn't mean he doesn't want the fight. The Joshua fight can still be next.
The $50 million against 50% offer was a Sky offer, as confirmed by the president of Showtime and Lou DiBella. Even Hearn admitted the REAL reason why they didn't accept the offer.

Trying to negotiate a fight before the Wilder-Fury fight was as silly as claiming that Wilder doesn't want the Joshua fight NOW before he satisfies his WBC mandatory.
The $50 million offer trumped all the other offers (which is probably why you want to discredit it so badly). Wilder was then sent a lowball contract with a one-way rematch clause and no date. Joshua chose to fight Povetkin instead. Fact is Joshua was not ready to fight Wilder until after the Fury fight and when he made his offers, Wilder was busy preparing for the Fury fight, the rematch negotiations after the fight, and now has Braezaele to fight after Fury reneged on the rematch. The Joshua fight does not have to be negotiated until after Joshua gets past Miller...
The $50 million offer trumped all the other offers
On what planet is 50 mil offer (which was BS because it involved BT confirmed by Warren) to guy that can make 20+ fighting anyone better than 40 mil a fight to a guy that can't make more than 2/3 fighting anyone not named Joshua or Fury? You're in a different world, lost touch with reality.
