Best training gloves

I'm looking at buying some training gloves for general training, heavy bag, pads, double end bag etc... NOT sparring.

I've been looking at these:

Grant Professional Power Super Bag Gloves

Cleto Reyes Velcro Gloves:

I've read positive reviews about both but wondered if anyone on here has any opinions or other recommendations?

Best training glove should be determined by what you're looking for in a glove. Weight, fit, lace, velcro, custom colors, knuckle protection, wrist protection.

I tend to like a slim glove, with great wrist protection. Never had knuckle problems, so knuckle thickness/density doesn't play a big factor in my decision. since I make my own hook and loop closure, I always choose lace gloves. Here are a few gloves I own or have owned, and a quick description.

16oz. JC Pacheco Gloves: Custom colors, long and slim fit, hard padding, great wrist support, hard to get, quality control issue report by some buyers. IMO, great gloves for pad and bag work.

16oz. Zepol Gloves: Customs colors, slim fit, more compact than JC Pacheco, nice soft thick padding over the knuckles, wrist support not as good as Pacheco, soft broken in leather, excellent craftsmanship.

14oz. Fairtex BGL7: Slim and tight gloves, great leather, great wrist support, dense padding over the knuckles. Gloves are very stiff and downright uncomfortable until broken in, once broken in, one of the best training gloves for me. It combines some of the best attributes of the Zepol and JC Pacheco, unfortunately no custom colors.

16oz. Grant Training Gloves: Excellent craftsmanship, great leather, a little stiff until broken in, great wrist support, padding is not too hard or soft, overall great glove. The only issue I had with this glove was the fit, it was a little too wide for my liking, being that I have small hands.

14oz. Winning Gloves: Great in every category, soft padding, comfortable, excellent wrist support, great leather, amazing craftsmanship.

I think your best bet is to decide what weight glove you want then go to a boxing shop with your wraps and try a load on , I've bought gloves before and hated them you really need to try them on an ive had it where I've tried 2 pairs of Reyes gloves on and they felt different one good the over not as comftable . But I would recommend you to try the everlast pro tex gloves or the Rival gloves are also good nice fit and very good wrist support

I agree, trying on gloves would be the best option, but I'm assuming like most people, he doesn't have a shop to try on gloves.

One thing though, there aren't any boxing shops near where I live so need to order online.
